Karjalainen decided to digitze their print archive primarily because of the old newspapers’ poor condition, and they teamed up with Zissor and Visiolink to preserve their historic content for the future.
The historic Finnish newspaper launched Kaiku, their digital archive, in December 2019, and their new digital strategy has already proven to be a success that both their subscribers and journalists are praising.
