Zissor Content Conversion
Zissor Content Conversion System supports automatic conversion of physical documents or microfilms into electronically searchable information.
Texts and images are entered into a database so that internal and external users can quickly find the content they are looking for, based on a free text search. They can easily find and read the actual image of the document, without being familiar with internal file keys such as date, author, title, etc.
The system provides considerable savings on the conversion process from physical archive materials to electronic searchable information over more traditional methods. Zissor Content Conversion gives significant savings in retrieving and placing documents and in storage space.
Many businesses have a lot of documents in different formats, either paper-based, on microfilms or on file servers. Without effective filing and indexing methods these documents are practically worthless. In many cases it is nearly impossible to find the required information due to inadequate indexing knowledge. To all intents and purposes a document that cannot be found might as well not exist.
Traditional digitisation requires manual indexing which many decision-makers know takes time and leads to erroneous keystrokes and incorrectly placed perhaps lost, documents. Zissor Content Conversion indexes the whole document content maximising indexing capabilities and automates what remains. This makes it possible for the users to easily find these documents.
The solution digitises document content for searchable information. These documents can be viewed as a text file such as XML or in image formats such as TIFF, JPEG or PDF. The solution is tailored for document-intensive offices that store a lot of documents and service providers that save and retrieve information for other parties.
